Found this strange damage on my saddle.. Looks to be like a pinch flatted tyre but on the saddle nose..
Does this needed replacing?
yes
Definitely
Thought so... Not sure what caused it though..
Gutted.. only put in on about 4-5 months ago and its about £80-100 to replace..
Pics?
Can't at the moment but will when I get to a pc.. Its worm to the closed cell jell layer(fabric scoop saddle.. Very comfy but a tad expensive..)
Just needs some antivenom.
FWIW we can't help you without pictures.
Replace the whole bike....and your spare one.
Should be OK, but only if your bike is a Mongoose.
Trouser snakebite?
Snake bite on saddle.. Do I replace it?
Yes,I would. Perhaps a breed that's less liable to bite things.
You'll need to burn it with fire.
Should be OK, but only if your bike is a Mongoose.

Don't replace it now, wait until next year when they introduce the new saddle clamp standard, which is 32% stiffer and 11 mm lower profile.
Or 2 years later when they make another standard after realising people don't want stiffer saddles...
Superglue.
Ignore and carry on.
Not sure if that worked or not
Not for me 🙁

but just ride it.
Diamond white and Stella snakebite can be pretty frothy.
Patch it with some black velvet?
I've had a spare tri saddle of my road bike and had a closer look and it's just material wear.. But it looks like the shape made the wear worse.. Lovely saddle but not quite right for my riding
