Anyone know if he's around - struggling to get a response over two weeks after dropping off my light/battery with him.
Saw a couple of posts on his facebook/twitter I think over the last few days.
Had some emails from him over the last week.
Maybe he's busy.
Yeah he is about and busy!
Bought Batteries off him just before christmas if that helps any.
I've exchanged quote a few emails with him recently and he's normally fantastic. Give him a call.
Had the I've been busy reply from him, fair enough good to be busy. Not that I'm in that much of a hurry for my battery back it's still hindering my evening rides.
Had the I've been busy reply from him, fair enough good to be busy. .
Me too now so all underway and good. cheers smudge.
Hi All,
Firstly, thanks to a few who have been tweeting/texting me about this post.
Sorry for the few who I have not had chance to reply or get their orders/repairs out just yet. As you may well know I build all the custom batteries myself and this year and still is overwhelming with the demand for such hard to replace batteries not including the standard Solarstorm compatibles I have had to also build.
Over the last year I have targeted the industrial battery market, this is where I spent 20+years building L-Ion Batteries for, as a result I now have regular repeat orders and new sample batteries being tested at the moment. So much so my Battery Supplier came to visit last week to discuss more target markets within the UK.
I know I am taking longer than I should be to reply to an email and getting a new order/repair out, even I dont like that, but please bear with me at the moment and yes I have thought about employing someone but I take great pride and love my work.
Thanks for listening..
until the last sentence I was going to send over my CV! (no joke btw)
Well done with the expansion into industrial supply smudge...take it as a compliment that people here think well of you your products and your service but that ironically is what causes you workload issues. it's the hardest thing to go from popular one man band sized business but becoming too busy and knowing when to expand the workforce. Growing pains and all that but wish you every success.
