Can anyone recommend any of the apps available on iphone 4. Iv looked at memory map but am confussed about the one you pay for as its not clear if it comes with the maps or if you pay seperate for them.

Iv also seen the viewranger app which seem ok but again they dont seem to detail if the maps are included as the app is only 3mb so obviously maps get downloaded after, but i'm not sure if they're free.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Open source maps are free on viewranger. OS maps cost a bit, I bought the national parks series for about £15 (symbian)

Yeah Iv seen the free credits you get. I think it'll end up costing a fortune if I keep needing a map everytime I go somewhere especially the 1:25k explorers.

If it was Droid the MMtracker would be your friend.

I believe that once you have purchased the MM app for the iPhone you can load any maps you already have purchased onto it.

Yes after reading more into it I have found you need to purchase the £20 MM not the free version to transfer them.
