Does anyone still make these?

Something like the Exposure White Eye.

My Diablo annoys me, as it sits 1/2" or so above the helmet (to allow for aiming) and as the battery is on-board the weight is noticeable.
A better solution for me - if the light unit could be kept where it is, but the battery strapped to the helmet somewhere else it would be much better.

Does this exist?

Gloworm X1 or X2 fits the bill pretty well. I've got an X1 and I'm happy with it.

Another vote for the Glowworm stuff.

Have tried One23 and a Chinese stuff but and bought the X2 and XS after the latest died.

Properly impressive bits of kit, super light and bright. Come with a selection of optics to tune the beam pattern which is a nice touch. Wasn't convinced on the need for the remote button but once you get used to it I think it'd be hard to go back.

Have tried both on the lid, they're nice and low profile and can be mounted either with 3M tape, a GoPro mount or straps supplied.
