My five year old has a spesh 16" kids bike, but the brake lever (front, rear is a coaster, which just confuses her) seems to be way too big for her to get her hand round easily and generate any kind of braking force, even with the reach adjustment wound right in. I'd like to fit a smaller lever so she can get a bit more control. Any suggestions?

Tektro JL350. But gets a bit complicated as they are v-brake levers and AFAIK spesh have side pull?
