Hello,

Trying to find a small road frame (Around 48cm for someone 5 2) to build a bike for the OH.

Havent had much luck yet (or found one pretty enough).

Anyone have any suggestions or know of any bargains? Looking at £200/250 F/F

Thanks

Jon

Ribble 525 winter frame. Skinny steel tubes and looks really nice in the flesh. The pictures do not do it justice.

Got a small Defy 5 full bike for junior from wheelies for under £300 last month, there were a few about online.

Kinesis T2 comes in a 48 and they look and ride really nice.

Another option would be the Dolan Preffisio, sizes all the way down to a 45.

Kinesis looks promising, she also likes the colour!

Ribble looks good but red is a no go so I am told.

X/S Defy should be ok, plenty around

Worry more about reach rather than seat tube - your missus would probably find a 51-52cm toptube more comfortable. The 48cm Kinesis T2 might be a tad too long - the XS Defy would probably fit better.

We tried a 51 TT which was if anything on the long side.

I'll keep an eye out for the Giant.

Thanks
