Ideally USB charged
Weatherproof
Cheap
Too much to ask?
Stock answer- Moon Shield. Not the cheapest, but bloody good.
Decathlon do a really good one, Linky. Does white and red, solid and flashing and attaches with a rubber strap or clips onto webbing, clothing, etc. About £8, I've got a few of them.
Exposure Flare?
Aldi Moon copies. Go back to last week and buy them as they will probably be out of stock in store now. They might be appearing on ebay
Moon Shield is good. Possible not as bright as my Exposure Flare (which is a bit cheaper) but it's USB chargeable and can clip onto a bag. I believe Exposure do a USB rear light now but it's a bit dearer than the Flare.
Exposure traceR is an amazing rear light, not cheap though but reliable, very bright
USB recharchable, super secure clamp
Well worth the money
I believe Exposure do a USB rear light now but it's a bit dearer than the Flare.
The Tracer.

I've got an older Flare (which uses rechargeable batteries) and it's good but prone to issues with the contacts. The Tracer gets round that by being fully sealed, it's also programmable for brightness whereas the Flare is simply on/off.
I've just bought one, will move the older Flare up to a saddle-rail mount and use it as a back-up.
Unfortunately you missed out on the Aldi ones, I bought the pair just for the rear light only
Alpkit Tau? Don't know how weatherproof it is but it's been very good on my brompton
Lots of the Aldi ones left at mine though some bugger had opened some and swiped the cable. Really impressed with them.
I got the Aldi light last week and it's very, very bright, even brighter than what would have been my stock answer of the 'MetroFlash Dangerzone' which punts out an epic amount of light, and has a really cool name. The Aldi light also comes with a saddle rail mount which solves the problem of where to put it on my new bike with its dropper post. I'd grab one if you can get it! If you can't then I'd thoroughly recommend the Metroflash as a good, bright and weatherproof tail light.
I've got a set of the Aldi lights, and I had one of the Moon ones before. They are crazy good value but battery life isn't great for winter road rides or daily commuting IME.
Got a TraceR as well and it's brilliant, much longer battery life and very bright. It's not the cheapest by any means but good value.
I've been to a few Aldi's looking for the £13 rear light, can't find one of them, but there are loads of the £10 front/rear sets left where I've been.
The £13 one is a bobby, (literal) dazzler. Got one for SWMBO, and should have bought two. 😡
