I'm after a small cable lock to secure bikes while i nip to the cafe / pub / playground.
I know the small locks arent that secure but just after soething to stop someone just jumping on the bike and riding off. I live in the countryside so not too many theiving scum to worry about.
Any reccommendations?
I use one of these as a cafe lock Abus Combiflex Pro Cable Lock. Small, light and easy to use.

I too have the Abus one.
Another option is just to put a padlock through the chainrings on the crank so it is unridable - less cutoff-able than a cable as well.
