Out of stock here:

But you can get the part number and start searching for that.

Comes off easy enough. So I'll also see if I can find a lever

As above, the lever blade can be replaced as I found out after I snapped mine off using my inner thigh resulting in a bruise from mid-thigh to the back of my knee 🥴. It’s a really fiddly job though getting that little spring back in the right place 🤬. There are a few how-to videos on YouTube

Apparently they are designed to snap-off like that to avoid damaging the rest of the lever

Fiddly, oh yes. Borrowed a lever from a mates spares. Made a minor boo boo as his didn't look like it had a grub screw, so had to give the retaining pin some hammer. It then transpired the grub screw is there but covered with a rubber bung so it doesn't look like it.

Anyway, it's on and the fiddly spring is done too.

I do have a new master cylinder unit arriving from a lovely forum member so will now have spare too.

That said, this may encourage me to buy some Hopes lol.

big shout out to @wheelsonfire1 who sent me a brand new (looks it anyway) whole SLX brake for £0.... fantastic result from STW...

My riding mate had a spare lever, so that's on and a new one from Bikester on the way to replace it back into his spares.

And another shout out to shortyj15 who did the exact same favour to me for an m8100 lever.

This video helped me change mine

A few notes.

Despite what people will say the levers are the same left and right. The only difference is the stupid little spring.

So you can put a left lever on the right, just swap out the spring.

I recommend taking the lever off the bars and doing the job with the bike on the floor. This is because it will take you about 10 attempts and the spring will keep pinging out. On the floor it has less far to boring.

As someone said above remove that little bung with a sharp knife, remove the grub screw then the pin just drops out.

The pin only goes in one way.

Lastly it really helps if you are an octopus.
