I went to release the mech clutch and lo and behold, the on/off lever is gone, apparently snapped off. Is this fixable?
It's an M7000 11 speed.
TIA.

You can try and buy a new lever part... I ended up transfering one from a borked Deore mech ... might be worth buying a new actual clutch as well whilst you have it in bits

SJS have the lever in stock but no clutch assembly until June ‘23 😮
Might give it a go anyway.
I hate these clutches, they upset the shifting and create a lot of drag.

You can adjust it to your preference once you've taken the cap off. Just wind the bolt out a little to reduce the friction.

If you can get a replacement lever, the clutch mechanism is easy to disassemble and adjust so I reckon you'll be able to bring it back to life. Just be careful where you put grease. There's a Park Tool video that goes into quite a lot of detail:

Yes it's repairable. I repaired mine with a lever from SJS.

There's a tiny metal clip which holds the lever in place (a few mils wide), don't lose it!

A tiny smear of driveshaft moly grease on the clutch barrel and grease the housing seal to help stop water getting in. If the adjustment band bolt has been undoing itself (the clutch loses resistance over time) put a tiny bit of blue Loctite on it's thread.
