As per title. I have read previous posts on this topic but still unsure. I have a 2013 cube acid with deore shifters and looking for new brakes. Want to get slx but cant figure out if the newer I spec b style are compatible with my 2013 deore shifters.
Help?
Got a similar problem.
I believe that iSpec B will fit everything albeit you might need a different combination of bolts to attach it. I've got a B shifter turning up today to fit an A lever. Fingers crossed.

Ashy, thats what I looked at, and I am assuming that means the slx i-spec brakes wont fit my current deore shifters and means new shifters if I want to upgrade my brakes?
Isn't it the case that the only problem is with Ispec A brake levers? they need Ispec A shifters.
The rest works doesn't it with a bit of bolt jiggerymapokery.
I think new ispec b shifters will fit either I spec b or a brake levers, but old i-spec a shifters won't fit the newer I-spec b brake levers.
Yes, what he said
