I'm getting a lot of lever travel on my SLX brakes before they bite, even after bleeding.

Is there any way to move the bite point closer to the start of the lever pull?

They feel fine with the yellow bleed block in - should I be using something narrower than this to overfill a little? Anyone else experienced this problem?

Cheers in advance,

BTM

Something narrow, yupp, or semi worn pads with the disc in etc.

yup, over-fill a little. should move the pads further towards the disc and have the effect of shortening the throw of the lever.

I always over-fill in this way. The standard yellow block is (IIRC) 10mm wide so just make up something a bit narrower (7-8mm) and see how that feels.
