I've got a couple of thule bike carriers, 575s I think. One of them seems to slacken itself which obviously isn't good!! I can tighten it right up, lock it but after a few miles it has slipped a bit down the downtube, not enough to drop over the tube but still unnerving to say the least.
I just wondered if this was something anybody had encountered and if they had a remedy?

You should be siting the clamp as close to the bottom bracket as possible (certainly thasts what my old instructions used to say). I used to also use a wrap of old inner tube to save any paint scrapes held in place by two zip ties.
