I have the above frame and have snapped up a bargain new cane creek db air CS for it. It's a 2.25" or 55mm stroke though. That's slightly longer than stock stroke of 51mm for 125mm travel. The eye to eye is still 200mm so geometry won't be affected.

I estimate that this could boost travel a little from 125mm to 135-140mm.

Had anyone done this? I am running 26" wheels with 2.3 tyres- it looks to be fine in regards to clearance etc.

I'm keen to know if others have fitted this size shock or have experience with the this frame and a cane creek.

Cheers!!!

If you let all the air out of your shock and compress it do you have 15mm of space between the wheel and seat tube? Do the same with the cc before you fit it

I have 'simulated' 6mm extra shock movement and it does clear. My CCDB is in the post so was just asking if anyone experienced it here in the interim.

Thanks for the post though
