Close teammates, friends of mine and myself have continued the masquerade of pretending not to notice, or more disturbingly, not to care about your prolonged lapse of judgement for far too long. We are of course talking about your apparent refusal to slam your stem < http://slamthatstem.com>.

I know this may not seem like an issue of much consequence to you with so many others that you perceive as far more important than this during this time, the prime of your youth; however, please do not get lost in all of the fame and glory. Remember, you must always maintain pure fundamentals, like slamming your stem, before you can continue to such lavish embellishments as heart rate and power metering. We all love and care about you, Strava, and do not want to see you continue down this path towards the glory you are destined for if it means forgetting your roots.

Every time I open up my phone and go to you to start a ride, I see this hideous appendage placed between your headset cap and your stem, and I wonder: What is it for? Is another stem supposed to fit in there so you can have backup handlebars? Is the bike a hand-me-down from your stunted older cousin, MapMyRide? I personally expect to see a fat, balding man hop astride your white frame wearing a triathlon suit and one of those helmet mirrors and proceed to shift up to your largest gear and cruise at 25km/h for the next hour and a half. Is that the image you want to portray, Strava?

Looks like strava changed the logo

I notice the android version hasn't updated yet though

That's quite funny, well played Strava and stem-slam comedians. Maybe they should spend their time making the app work better, though.

I think the app's got a hell of a lot better in recent releases. It just used to be good for recording/uploading a ride, at least now you can do all the profiley stuff as well.

I'd be more concerned by the early adoption of disk brakes, personally.
