Finally got round to finishing my Nerve AM (frame only purchase off here)after waiting for a Works Components 1.5 degree slackset to be back in stock. Then had to machine an adaptor for the lower cup, as they don't currently produce one for this size headtube. ANYHOW! 1st ride was very promising around my local Llandegla. After transferring all my bits (bar new Race Evo X2's) from my 2010 Five, the handling was not unlike the Five, but with a smoother rear ride. My only real gripe is the soft tune of the shock, which required at least 20 psi more than I have ever put in an RP23 of the same size/travel to get the correct sag. And then it still blew through its travel too easily. An air sleeve shim should sort this next ride (1st time I have done this mod, very easy). Quite pleased with the finished weight, 27.7 lbs with pedals (1x10 spd). To sum it up, just as confidence inspiring as the Five with a smoother ride.
For those with a Nerve AM that think its a bit twitchy going down, the 1.5 degree slacker headset completely sorts that. Few pics bellow to show what was done to get the Works headset to fit.
