Anyone make one, with clearance for 26+ tyres.

Loving the look of the new Cotic Bfe... but don't want the weight.

Anything similar in carbon about?

Like a modern geometry version of the old 456c?

Mondy Vantage? long, and slack, pretty decent tyre clearance. Not sure if you'd stuff a full on Plus tyre in there, but why would you want too??

Why do you want plus tyres?

Transition throttle.

Maybe not plus but 26 x 2.6

I've got a really racey xc hardtail already and I've got the parts bar a frame to build a hardcore fun hardtails except for a frame and headset.

Some of the parts are kind of midweight so I don't want to add a really heavy frame and end up with a porker.

It's going to have a 26" 160mm Lyrik on it and stans flow rims with big tyres.

Transition Throttle... hmmmm £1800 for a hardtails frame, thanks but that's waaaay over budget!

How heavy is heavy? A carbon frame that can take the forks you want will be something like 1500g. An alu version will be around 2000g. Thats no even a pound of weight difference, but you will probably save a load of money which could say buy wheels that offer most of the weight loss, where you will notice it.

I actually can't think of any - Transition might do one for the price of a full-sus frame?

You should get a Honzo CR though, 29in is better.

😉

If you got rid of the carbon and plus tyre requirements you'd find a load of frames. Dartmoor hornet for example

What's the line on using the Sonder with non-plus tyres?

42mm BB drop suggests it might be OK on 29in using a 140mm Pike, or 650b with a shorter fork. It's not really that long though.
