New or second hand? And how slack?

New less choice, second hand loads of cheap bikes. You'd get a second hand help dave etc for that

Some really good deals on Ragley full bikes on CRC - a couple are under 1K.

The Mmmbop is pretty slack with a 63.75 HA.

Got a large Deedar that I rode less than 10 times. Currently sat in shed as I haven't got round to listing it for sale. Is built up wth a mix of spare parts so can be ridden but really needs some forks. Cheap as chips, as in you could buy it and spend £700 on a decent set of forks and come in on budget.

So I’m happy to go second hand - will need an XL. I really want plus tyres as I need the cushioning- my joints are not great :/

As slack as I can get really - anything 65 degrees or lower I suppose.

Whyte 901 can be found for £999 instead of circa £1800 at the moment.

Nothing better really for that money. The geometry on these is superb, very long reach so don't oversize.

The 27.5+ with the 2.8s give the same outer rolling diameter as 29s but at 15 psi are super plush.

Whyte 901 is a great bike. Had a previous 905 and they’re absolutely sorted.

£899, XL with 65 degree head angle. Rear tyre takes a 2.6 according to in one. I run a 2.6 schwalbe nobby nic in mine and there's bags of room spare. Great bike, I do everything in mine and it's never let me down.

Better fork on the Ragley, and I'd defo prefer Deore to SX. Otherwise very similar.

Some good deals around this year 👍

Iv just been looking at the Trek Roscoe 7 as these seem a good value for money bike on the used market. Whats the sizing like on them im just under 6ft 2 so im in the Large/XL territory. In the past iv gone for Large as i like to sit more upright on my bike saves my back arching?
