Currently ride a sliding dropout Inbred and was looking for a slack 120mm suitable frame. Any ideas, doesnt have to be steel.
C456? with a Works headset if you want it more slack?
If 29er my Honzo in the classifieds - designed around 120mm fork and sliding dropouts.
I have an N S Surge and it is a delight. Can run up to 160mm fork. It was a tip from someone on here. Very pleased with it.
The Large Surge was a bit small and I sold it 🙁
456 perhaps but its £400 and there is a new one on the way.
Clink 26inch stuff I am afraid.
He sold his Surge frame to me Ed.
🙂
Might have held onto it had this singlespeed bug got me beforehand! Hope its going well.
Yes thanks mate, rides very nicely.
Might be getting the bug myself a bit too.
Sanderson Soloist with 120mm forks will be fairly slack head angle
Lol I might have guessed Stace. 😆
Soloist with 130mm revs is pleasingly slack.
Could always contact Curtis bout a freeride SS frame with slack head angle.
Must push it hard to get the best out of it though so I hear online which would sound right : D
You could always look at an eccentric BB for a frame with vertical drop outs. And something like a new BFe could take a slackset HS.
Mmm eccentric BB, might be an idea.
