Just got some 38mm tyres for my Specialised Sirrus & the guards that are on don't have enough clearance. The Speedrockers look like they'll be ok, just wondering if anyone has them & what theyr'e like?
Ta muchly in advance.

I have them on my old Arkose which doesn’t have much clearance for normal guards with 40 mm tyres. Used them all last winter and found them to be really good.

Main advantage for me is that they are very quick to get on and off.
Only downsides are the front guard isn’t long enough to keep spray off your feet and the rear isn’t long enough to stop spray hitting the person behind if you’re riding in a group. They make an extender for the rear if needed, to help with this.

I've switched to them this year - longer on the front than the Gravel Huggers I used last year, wrap around the rear better than Gravel Huggers.

They are better to take on and off. I'll be honest, they are on my gravel bike which predominantly gets used off road, so I'm not that fussed about the people behind me, we expect to get wet and muddy, but the Speedrockers protect me much better.

Fitted them for a very wet 200 in early October and haven’t removed them.

Would be nice if they were a bit longer but they work well enough. I cable tied around the clip mounts on the forks to stop them slipping down.

I have them on my dog walking hybrid bike.
They're brilliant.
They're nice and quiet and easy to adjust if knocked.

I actually like that the rear is a little shorter. If you have gates to negotiate a lot, my technique is up on the back wheel, and held with one hand on the rear brake while I open the gate.
The shorter length means the guards don't hit the ground with the bike upright.
Recommended.

Yeah I run them on my commuter, they are pretty good, keep me pretty dry

Only issue I find is that if they take a big knock they need re-adjusting with an Allen key occasionally. But then it’s a commuter getting knocked about and abused, wouldn’t be an issue on a bike you treat nicely 🙂

You can get a rear extension for the speedrocker if you need one.

I've got a set, can't remember if I got the rear extender but I havr fitted my RAW mudflaps. I'm really happy with them.

Great stuff fellas, I’m pleased I asked! I’ll be ordering some now. I was a bit worried about how secure they’d be on bumpy stuff but seems like they must be fine.

I’ve just fitted a pair based on suggestions on here. Done two rides this week and worked well. Photo at the end of this thread.

Cheers Ahsat, they look grand & obviously do the job!
(Look better than a big wet shite stripe up your arse anyway) 🤓

For me, another benefit is that I can swap them over to my revolt too, if I need to, with no bother.

The front does sometimes drops down. Ive got some some of the rubber straps to replace the velcro ones.
