After years of avoiding jumps and big drop offs I’d like to improve my skills. Any good 121 courses recommended either in swinley or Surrey hills?

Si Walton at Pedal and Spoke coaching is based in the Surrey hills and they have a secret (not so secret) jump area.

The Hub at Swinley offer coaching too, but if it's jumps and drops you're after Tony at UK Bike Skills in Hertfordshire is The Man to go and see.

For coaching in the Surrey Hills you can't beat Si Walton at Pedal and Spoke, great guy and really knows how to get you doing stuff the right way.

Can't recommend him enough.

I think Si's "secret" training area has been sold off by the land owners 🙁

I had a couple of hours with him last year and progressed massively.

When we were up there earlier this year, he mentioned it had been sold, but seemed quite positive that they would be able to continue to use it. Could all have changed since then though.

Another vote for Si, he's the reason I survived my Alps trip this year relatively intact!

Used  https://www.rocksandroad.com (based in surrey) and UK bike skills in the same year. Both were really good but if was going to do another course I think I would use rocksandroad.

I've done a course in the Surrey Hills (forget who) and a day with jedi.  I'd recommend going to jedi (UK bike skills)

@spaniardclimber I've done quite a few coaching sessions including UK Bike Skills, Andy from Rocks and Road, BPW Dropzone (same as I think you have)  and I've enjoyed them all but my favourite to date and the one I gained the most from was Katy Kurd.  Her coaching just clicked with me and I really want to go back for more. It doesn't hurt that I love the riding in FoD too.

In SH itself, Si via P&S, B1KE and Singletrack School are a few that come to mind. Not sure what they offer for jumps.

Aside from Jedi though you may be better off with a jumps course at a bike park (not Swinley, though the upcoming skills area by the Hub may change that).
