Are these no longer available? No-one seems to sell them anymore, what's the alternative, also looked at royce but are expensive and require specialist fitting.

Thanks. Are they easy to fit? (specialist tools required?) also Sideways isn't local to me.

phil wood tool isnt too expensive.

£75 for the bb, £20ish for the cups, and £20 for the tool.

Personally though, Ive just decided to go for UN54 @ £15 and damn the extra 100g weight.

Do you still need cups if fitting with eccentric bottom bracket? (singular frame) sorry get confused with EBB's.

yes - the cups carry the BB shell/spindle. The EBB has the same threaded bore as any other BB shell.

http://www.compasscycle.com/SKFbb.html

I bought one here about a year ago. It looks nice, feels nice and just works. Expensive, but 10 yr warranty on all bits so not really expensive.

Needs a park bbt-18 8 "tooth" tool to fit it, dead easy.

Sideways isn't local to me.

Worth a trip out though. It's my local bike shop even though it's now 100+ miles away.
