I had some X-Lites once: They were the worst bike parts I have ever bought. Shimano everytime.

Shimano - they all work and you can go from cheap/Deore to expensive/XTR.

I got some Bontrager ones with my Race Lites. Do the job fine plus are a bit wider so can get a proper hold of them not like narrow Hope I had. Not the Ti version though but still look good.

On my road bike I've got some normal Shimano that came with Tiagra hubs. Again fit and forget, no loosening, plain black. I do like the look of the xtr ones, but £30+ for one is a bit too much and the cheaper ones work as well.

Shimano. Closed cam designs like these work the best.

Cook Bros Racing are the best I've ever used. Work impeccably and look amazing. Accept no cheaper inferior alternatives 😉
