AFAIK: If it’s a tube with a 30.9 seatpost it’s 33.1 outer diameter

Depends what the tubing is.

27.2 seatpost would normally go in a tube of 28.6mm (1.125") outside diameter but it depends if there is a very thick butt at the top. I externally sleeve my seat tubes so run a 30mm clamp.

From photos on the Curtis site I'd go with a 28.6mm clamp but would need to check my Reynolds stocklist to be sure (not just got it to hand but will do a bit of digging).

Stocklist I've got to hand is a bit vague without any drawings (and I mostly use Columbus not Reynolds).

Most of the ST are 27.2 bore with 28.6 nominal outer diameter. There are a few bulge butted tubes that are 1.2mm wall at one end. If that is the seat end then that would be 29.6. With some powder coat thickness that would be sort of 30mm. So probably 28.6mm but an outside chance it is 30mm.

Aha now 30mm is what I would imagine as it has a powder coat to add thickness to tube clamp area.

Thank you Mick.
Will pm you sometime 😉👍
