Had a great chat with Sixth Element wheels yesterday about a lefty wheelsets. Really impressed with thir approach and product offer. Have been chewing over LB from China and a set of Magic, but look likely to get these instead, especially with the 0% offer. Thanks to those other STW folk who flagged the company in another post. Roll on pay day next month and any suggestions for sneaking a wheelset into the house..

Graham is a brilliant wheel builder, just don't let him talk you in to any of that plus size business 😉

I was well impressed with their wheels at the Tweedlove expo, sad I didn't have enough spare cash to take them up on their great offer 🙁

Out at the EWS in Italy at the moment. Abigale has been running some 38mm 650bs for most of the year. They have been spot on so far. Graham is also first class to deal with.

Is there any reason to choose these over a set from Blue Flow. They seem to have as good a warranty and are £230 cheaper per set. Genuine question as I am in the market at the moment and doing some research.

We have LBs, Rovals, some Superstar ones between the four of us and the quality of the Sixth Elements are as good as them all.

Collected mine Tuesday(38mm 650b). Fitted to my Nomad. Ridden three times locally on a mix of our great trails. Gotta say these wheels are the single biggest improvement I've ever had the pleasure to fit and run. Sensational performance improvement. I'm honestly blown away. It's brought an already much loved bike to life. Graham was a gentleman to deal with and answered all my questions. I can't recommend him and the wheels highly enough. I sat on the fence for ages about carbon wheels. So glad I made the jump. A small aside, they look brilliant too which doesn't hurt me at all.

Update on the Sixth Element wheels. After four punishing days at the EWS in La Thuile. Two days practice and two days racing you still cant tell the wheels have been used. They are still running smooth and true. Most of the guys who didnt finish was due to damaged rims, both carbon and alloy.

I chatted with Graham at Tweedlove and was very impressed. My new Hightower is coming with Enve 29ers so am looking at getting some Sixth Element 38mm plus wheels as a second set. Communication has been first class and he's happy top source me some matching Industry Nine hubs for a very good price.
