Don't panic but the site will go down for hopefully no more than 10 minutes at about 10:30.

We are switching all login pages to deliver via https which just means security of personal details is going up a notch.

A consequence of this is that everyone (even us) will be logged out so when the site comes back up you will need to login again to post.

Well there's already a delay so let's modify the notice to 'at some point this morning' and see how we go 🙂

For about the first time ever, I'm still logged in from my last visit!

So I guess the maintenance hasn't happened yet!

Can you schedule the down time for when I'm in my meeting later this afternoon?

Thanks very much.

Surely you want it not when you're in the meeting? How are you going to keep entertained while people are trying to shift the paradigm around the ringfenced unicorn?

The downtime will be at about 2.30pm so be prepared to be logged out against your will!

First they send out an email saying the subs are changing, twenty minutes later they turn the forum off. Conspiracy 😉

Login button only seems to work on the home page. It doesn't work on the forum page itself.

Site is logging me out every time I close a browser window .

IE is reporting unsecure content every time I land on the site or change from chat to bike etc .

Small text, but now wrapping onto two lines. Looks a mess

Layout was much nicer before.

EDIT: And it's suddenly back how it was?!

Firefox on desktop.

Just a quick update. We looking in to the bugs mentioned with log in and IE. We should have the login button working on all pages fixed in a moment. Thanks for pointing those out to us and thanks for your patience 😀

Hmmm, finally managed to login. The Login doesn't work from the forum page here either. And now it looks awful. Will try logging out and back in to see if it changes. Nasty ASCII text and no structure to the pages

EDIT> Andd bingo... as soon as I posted that it changes back to the old format 🙂

Something strange going on but hopefully all good now

Don't know if it's a site thing, but when I type my password (chrome, Android 6) the spelling suggestion bar displays my password. I'd assume it's the field type that should specify ' no typing assist' or something?

Will check tomorrow when back at work .

On my iPad in Safari it looks awful .

The predictive text has also been disabled and it is permanently suggesting my email address and not prompting words as I type .

Yeah, on Chrome everything's underlined. Then you change page and it's not underlined, then you go to a page that wasn't underlined and it is! Messy.

Still problematic logging in, can only do so on the home page not the forums. I'm using Chrome Version 55.0.2883.87 m (64-bit). It is also very slow to render the page when not logged in.

FYI
When I log in to post, there are no edit buttons and the ‘Preview Post’ is just words not a button.

Log out - then log back in - and it’s OK again
