Want to replace the cheap resin ones in my Elixir 1 brakes with a sintered set. Which ones offer a decent compromise between price and performance at the moment?

I use Nukeproof Enduro pads in my Elixir 3s - from CRC. Would recommend.

Are the Superstar ones any good? £7 a pair.

I'm using Superstar ones now. Seem fine. I'm getting a decent lifespan out of them too, which was the whole point.

I'm using Superstar ones on mine, no problems with the 4 sets I've used thus far in my CR's (and the SS ones I used in my old Juicy's were also fine - just one pair that glazed = more likely user error / contamination..)

Looks like the SS ones are worth a punt for that price then, will check them out 🙂

I'm looking to replace the pads on my Elixir 4s (OEM on the 2010 Spesh Pitch Pro) and Elixir Rs on my Blue Pig. Am I right in thinking that the Superstar sintered Avid Elixir pads will fit both? I'm sure I remember someone on the forums mentioning that Elixir 4s took a Juicy 3 pad.
Cheers,

Andy

Anyone tried the Uberbike components pads? Similar price to SS.
