Afternoon...
Just put the stanton to a ss using said singulator, with a down tension spring. however I seem to be getting a seriously slippy chain. I've got it tensioned but when I mash the pedals.... Clunk! Any suggestions??
Cheers

Sometimes a down push spring doesn't allow as much chain wrap around the sprocket as an up push spring, combine this with a partially worn chain and you may experience slippage. You can pop off the circlip and remove all the singulator gubbins, allowing you to just bolt it direct to the drop out in any position, this will enable you to try the push up position without a spring. Shonky.

I had noticed that the plates holding tge sprocket on the singulator were very loose.... The bolt holding them tight was almost out.... That may have been the issue 😳
