Those fat wheels seem to take a bit more effort to slow down. I saw a post saying 200mm rotors were above spec for Singulars, but would Shimano Zee brakes at 180mm front / 160mm back be ok?

i have 160mm on mine and they're fine.

180/160 BB7s on mine.

I find the huge amount of grip and increased rolling resistance (Nates front and back) to not require much actual braking!

180/160 Shimano XT.
Do absolutely fine on my Puffin.

Nates and quite surprised on how well they roll and how much they grip going down.

I've got 180/180 Magura Louise here because that's what I had to hand.

I'd concur with the others - going down anything braking seems to be optional.

Going along or up stuff just stopping pedalling is enough to slow you down quite quickly due to tyre drag 😉
