can these forks be run with a standard 29er (on one scandal 19.5 frame)? not a 69/96er?
Nephew is being told he cannot run them with his new build by resident 'guru'
well you could, but the have a different rake to a 'standard' 29er fork...
so the wheel base would be longer etc.
You 'can' run them. Handling may well be interesting! Not recommended - the forks are too short so will increase the head angle but the rake is long so it may even it out and be OK. But I doubt it!
So yes but really probably not!
You won't die (probably) but will probably scare yourself!!
not me....19 yr nephew
Definitely not recommended for a suspension corrected 29er frame (which the scandal is) - would put your trail figure in track bike territory.
thanks Sam....they will soon be in the classifieds 😳
