If I was 20 days older and that would have been me standing next to Nick Craig in 2nd spot. Oh well, I'm happy enough with my position in young man class.
Next year, would it be possible to not allow former multiple british champions to enter. In fact could entries only be allowed for old fat men riding dh bikes and then I'd be in with an even better chance.
well, the presence of the nicest man in mountainbiking kept me off the vets podium this year, and i thought it was great that he and his son were there! 🙂
i used the invisible yo-yo to help with my balance in the trials event.
I totally agree with the nicest man comment. Nick couldn't have been nicer when he politely asked to pass me after making up the one minute start I had on him just 0.6 miles into the XC. Hmmm, must try harder next time.
