Hi Chaps,
My mate is after a 29er SS specific frame, after his home DIY project falling through he has some spare cash.
Are there any other nice decent options other than a Lurcher?
Cheers
Ricks
has he looked at a swift ?
How much cash? Niner Air 9 carbon levels?
salsa el mariachi, swift, Karate monkey, all very good
Niner One 9? (alloy)
Like mine half way down this page...
Swift looks bang tidy.

Having had one, (a few in fact) an Inbred punches way above its weight.
But at the other end of the scale my Niner SIR.9 is simply brilliant.
But you've some lovely bikes to choose from aside from those two...
Singular Swift.
Pace RC129 (I think its called).
Cotic Simple.
Genesis Fortitude.
Surly Karate Monkey.
On a budget? Trek Marlin SS is great fun.

You can plug an ebb into the pf30 bb on a mamasita.
not quite ss-specicic but the Van Dessel Ramble Tamble has an EBB to make running it SS a bit neater (there'll be one in the classifieds soon as the one I bought from Timbur is too big for me)
Karate Monkeys were £635 at Tritton Cycles a few months back.
I got one, love it. Although it does have an Alfine on it now.
The 2012 models of the Cannondale SL29 above can be had for £420 in the sales at the minute. Very tempted...
he's right, bargainous! http://www.wheelies.co.uk/p48914/Cannondale-Trail-SL-29-er-3-SS.aspx
Chumba HX2
Be warned the fork will batter you to death....and its 520mm a-c.So only a 120mm sus fork or the fork/knard tyre off the Krampus will fit 😀
