Looking at building up my Genesis IO frame and deciding on a Chainset. All my other bikes have hollowtech BBs so to make things easier it seem logical to go with a chainset that uses that so I don't need extra tools and can swap etc. This probably means getting an lx or xt chainset and taking off the rings etc. This will work ok but I do like the look a singlespeed specific chainset. Are there any wich run on hollowtech BBs? Or is it best to go for a Middleburn square taper? Any other singlespeed chainset recommended? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I ran a compact campag centaur, came with a 34t unramped ring and a nother huge one, it is a 10 min job to strip and lube the external BB bearings so will last indefinately if you look after it, and Middleburn do a selection of ring sizes if you dont want or wear out the 34t..
