What, if anything, works well with a 142 through axle? Used to use a DMR pushy upper roller wheel thing but that's not going to work given it used to anchor on the QR. Fancy making the hardtail singlespeed and the onset of winter is a good excuse to do so.

Rohloff tensioner is good (but expensive) - just hangs from the mech hanger like a derailleur but lighter and no lateral movement.

You've got a mech hanger on it I presume? So anything like a Surly Singleator would work fine

That Rohloff tensioner is pricey isn't it. Quite neat though. That said it seems like ebay is an option as there are a couple on there.

Surly one looks like a good option too.

Use a blackspire stinger or similar at the front, much neater and less faff getting the rear wheel in and out

No iscg mounts unfortunately and I can't locate a bb mounted one from a quick google.

Fairly sure Superstar do one, DMR used to do one and maybe still do

On One do a cheap one that only needs a mech hanger, works well!
