I am need of some help or advice. I am converting one of my geared bikes into a singlespeed. The bike is running Shimano XTR M9020 cranks with a 96bcd but I am struggling to find a non narrow wide chainring for these cranks. Does anybody have any ideas of where i could get a SS ring for the XTR's from?
I have these cranks and I've seen this problem before. Can you find one of the older 1 x 11 rings that just basically had really long teeth, as opposed to narrow wide?
As suggested above.
Perfect for SS as long as 34T works for you - super durable chainring.
Or 32T here -

I just kept using the ring that came with the cranks. Why don't you want narrow/wide...do you need to run a half-link to correct the chain length?
Just in case you need the 4 xtr tabs for a chain ring, I've got a set on my desk. Pm me if you need them.
Thanks for everyones input. Gone and got the 34t that @sillyoldman suggested
I don't bother with single speed rings any more as I've found narrow-wide works just fine, unless.....you want an odd (33t?) Tooth count.
