This was actually an internet order and not my LBS at all! BUT someone's LBS none the less....
I went into my LBS over a week ago to buy some new knee pads, they had to order my size and I popped back in on Thursday to pick them up. The pads that arrived were a 'new design' and not at all what I wanted. Not my LBS's fault at all but a real pain as I needed them for this weekend and now had nothing...
I looked around online and as it was well after 3pm at this stage most of the 'big' internet sites would not do next day delivery.
After phoning a few places I got in touch with brilliantbikes.co.uk - I spoke to Mark who said he would do his best to help out, he just needed to get someone to cover the shop so he could run to the post office for me!!
I didn't hold out much hope but the shop came up absolute trumps with the pads arriving by 10am the next day, not only that but it cost the shop more than I paid in postage to get them to me.
