Are the bridlepaths from Simons bath worth exploring, particulary going north onto the moors?

The trail from Simonsbath to Cow Castle is great, along the Two Moors Way (the one just to the north has too many gates).
Heading north... you are allowed up Lime Combe now, that would be the best.
Horsden Hill isn't good, but used to link up to Withypool.

Track through Doone Valley to Malmsmead is nice IIRC.
