Living in the mountain biking mecca of Norfolk, i tend to ride singlespeeds now especially in the winter, i have a Singular Peregrine that i ride mostly off road SS, but am after something lighter that can be ridden at a decent lick on road and off road too.
Recently found the 2017/2018 Trek Crockett frames had horizontal drop-outs, looks a decent weight, but £750.00 quite steep for an alu frame, any other alternatives that people can think of?
I spent a while looking for something with the same spec as you and ended up with a Crockett. Couldn’t find anything else that fit the bill.
Sunset Cycles were doing them with 10% off which was the best I could find, not sure if they’re still offering that.
Not sure if you’re aware but the new 2020 model no longer has the adjustable dropouts.
Anything with a pressfit30 BB and an ebb. Bb30 (bearings directly in frame) is too small though.
