Looking for something light but tough, not really a big hucking rider but enjoy myself. Anyone tried these as they're reasonably wide and might fit the bill.
Idiot bump
Have you looked at those new roval control? They are super light but a decent width.
Need boost front and non boost rear so most wheelsets dont really work. Actually ive just presumed its not boost rear......
When I was searchiNg yesterday for some flashy carbon wheels I noticed a reviewer on the specialized website [ quite understandably] bitching about how the Roval wheels aren't actually boost, they are just normal spoke position with some stupid arsed adaptor to make them fit boost frames.....
Which might indeed be a good thing for you....
If you don't find anything else, and fancy driving over to the continent to pick up two pairs of xmc1501s from bike discount and then forgetting to pay the import duty in Dover, then I'd be happy to pay my share of the petrol!
Turns out i do need boost, probably good i checked before buying something. Considering some JRA wheels as well but not sure what their stock situation is.
Those new rovals run on dt350 hubs, so I can't see how they'd fudge it with a non boost hub. I'd be surprised if non-boost is an option.
Sector 9i carbon might be worth looking at too.
Silt will do mix and match boost and non boost on request. Just email them.
Ah it's boost front and rear but I've emailed to ask if they do their enduro front wheel and xc rear wheel as that might be perfect.
