ALL mass-starts needing wide trails, best of three

Chainless descent - include an uphill bit
Single-gear hill climb - you choose the gear it's on trust you don't shift
200m flat sprint
Slow race - crap track standing

Riding backwards sat on the handlebars. i.e the rider is backwards, not the bike.

Rear wheel hops.

Ride Virtual Park Life, or Yogurt pots without pedalling or touching brakes.

Le mans style start always livens things up.

Don't Put Your Foot Down ( track standing with tactics )

Mark out a square
(Size depends on how many riders you want to have in it at the start)

Get them all inside ,pedaling around, whistle blows ...Game on.

Anybody that dabs goes out.
Last person standing wins, dirty tactics can be used, but any contact and both riders go out the area.

If there are a lot of riders ,you can do heats.

We do this at the Go Ride days, and the kids love it.

Get some old helmets, tape a pot of some kind to the top.

Build an obstacle course - bumpy downhill, slalom, log etc.

fill pot with water/beer/piss/mixture of animal faeces and water (last two reserved for stags/birthday boys)

time the runs and add time penalties for lost fluid

Spin the tyre.

Hold a tyre at arms length, and spin round on the spot 20 times, then run out and back to another marker roughly 50 feet away.
Fastest combined time wins.
Alternatively, change marker to bottle of beer that needs to be downed.

Great suggestions, although some of these require actual bike skills which none of us have 😉

Blindfold distance challenge.

It's best done one at a time as it'll be absolute carnage if you all try it together!

Find someone with a crappy/MX motorcycle, a short circuit, and do an MTB Kirin!

Push the bike backwards.

Hold the bars, standing in front of the bike, facing towards it.
Push it backwards.
Have a race.

Much more difficult than you might think

Bike limbo, how low a pole can you ride under...

First gear only race

water race. 2 buckets 50 metres apart. You can only move water between the two in plastic cups.
