Got a new pair of SIDIS for the road bike. Exact same size as my last pair, similar looking buckle system. Had my last ones for ten years and ride quite regularly so a lot of abuse.
However, only been on the new ones a few times, but I get some central foot pain after about 90 minutes. I have put in my orthotics from my old shoes. They feel really nice to put on and walk around in but just the pain that creeps in on rides. Is it just a new SIDI shoe thing?
They feel good apart from that as I said!
Cheers.
Don't know if it's new or a general problem but I've had that with my last two pairs of sidis after years with no problems. was solved for me with a pair of somewhat pricey insoles
same midsole? stiffer, flex-ier?
Have you got new cleats? Old ones often wear so that your foot isn't level anymore.

Not sure on comparisons on the midsole from shoe to shoe! Both Sidis and both medium range I would say. Unless they've made any major changes in the last while!

Yes. New cleats (Speedplay) .

I transferred over the insole from the older shoes which were pricey ones from a physio a few years ago so shouldn't really be any major problems there?!
