I’ve decided that a kick stand on my e shopper would be really useful.
Would one work with panniers full of fizzy water and tins of soup?

If so, recommendations please.

Will it take a double/bipod kick stand? Our bakfiets has (a very wide) one and it is dramatically more stable when loading the bike.

If you have chainstay stand mounts then I've got the Halfords own brand ebike one on my tandem and can recommend it. I only knew my local branch had them in stock as they were on the website, they don't put them on display for some reason. The mounting holes on the stand are threaded so I drilled them out as my chainstay mounts had the threads.

+1 for a proper chunky double/bipod stand if you're loading a bike up, E-bike so weight it's really a factor and the extra stability is very helpful if you're putting a lot of stuff on there, it's invaluable on our cargo bike.

SJS do them: https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/accessories/hebie-heavy-duty-foldrex-bipod-stand-0608/

A centre stand would be good but won't fit on my conversion.
