Gf has recently had some shiny new SID RLTs from On-one and friends.
but is finding them a bit short.

I note, that the SID RLTs are available in 80, 100, and 120 mm lengths.

i also have noted this article, on swapping between 80, and 100mm on older sids:

http://faqload.com/faqs/bicycle-components/suspension/rockshox-sid-race-2009-2010-adding-removing-all-travel-spacer

does anyone know, if i can increase the 100mm SID RLTs,

http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FORSSIDRLT120/rockshox-sid-rlt-dual-air-120mm-fork

to 120mm, in a similar fashion?
or are the 120s a different setup inside?

SPANKS TEAM!

Ol.

slight further investigation indicates that the 120s have a different chassis, though this COULD just mean "has 15mm maxle cast into the lowers"?

Sids now come in 2 flavours 80-100mm and 100-120mm. Both can be 100mm but the only the first can be dropped to 80 and the 2nd extended to 120mm. It would appear they are always sold in their longest length of the range thay are capable of - i.e. you can shorten from what you bought but not lengthen. Not 100% certain though so maybe worth investigating further by pulling them apart.
