Looking at picking up a new lightweight fork.

Quite a few 2011 reductions around at the moment - but quite a confusing model line up.

What are the Cf crown / steerer units like? I've got CF crown on some Pace forks (IIRC), and it has been fine. But CF steerer??? Is that like a ticking fuse?

Any breakage reports on those steerers?

Stronger than alu. Do you worry about aluminium steerers? RS have been doing them for 8 years now, I've never heard of one failing.

Carbon steerer on my 2011 SID World Cups. No issues at all, love them.
The bikes around 22lb (with me at 200lb 😕 )

haven't seen any of these with problems, would keep up witht he lower leg lube services as not a huge volume of oil in them.
A number of people of the Loco Racing team have used these this year.
