The 2013 has gear cable routing and looks very nice in the "raw steel" finish or whatever it's called

how's the handling?

seems spot on, they are about 20mm higher A-C than my Kona P2's but it doesn't appear to have a detrimental affect, if fact it seems better.

I had a 2008 unit 29er.

It was a real let down...average ride and weighed a ton.

I've been looking for a 16 inch 26er unit for ages now, it started the day after I sold mine as I needed the cash 🙁 I loved mine and search most days but have no joy. Think they only made one in each size as they never come up for sale!!

look what i picked up yesterday

ian911 , jealous much?
[img] [/img]

[img] [/img]

[img] [/img]

dont worry though its not a unit

[img] [/img]

and its only 'kona butted cromo'

doesnt feel as light as my 97 double butted lava dome, I plan to strip and weigh them

its an 05/06? UK only lava dome with what looks like sliding dropouts left over from those early Units

im planning to swap over bits from my current lava dome- its got a crack forming in the seatstay (previously had it welded elsewhere)and i really want discs as this wet summer has been no fun with v brakes
st need a tripple butted disc tab only p2 fork and some 650b wheels 🙂

Very tidy looking frame you have there Kimbers. And interesting 650B plans as well.
Jealous? Hmm perhaps a little bit

Sod it, I've just bought that 29er 16" Unit frame Charlie, it's probably easier to ask for forgiveness then permission 🙄

ian911 and larry there could be a 26", 16" 2007 Black Frame and forks for sale pretty soon.

Need to see how this 29er itch works out first though.
