Ha! I trump your Port du Bales 1755m with my Col de la Madelaine - 2000m!

LOL at kona_ona - how 'bout Col du Galibier? 2645m! No picture though as the photographers were too scared by my increasingly erratic cycling and grumbling eyebrows. You should have seen me on the way up l'Alpe d'Huez about an hour or so later....

Oh, my Merlin is nice - handles like a Colnago EPS, nice ride that smooths out at speed, seems to cope with most things except for the chainstay clearance only for 23mm tyres.

My mates just bought a Pro from planet X on the cycles scheme. It was so cheap they're sending him a packet of fivers...

I'll see you a Galabier, 2645m:

And raise you a Marmotte. Couldn't tell you m climbed, bit it was quite a few. 5000 odd. Take it you were there aP?

Duggie- how long you had it ? any problems? I like the look of more expensive frames, is the extra worth it ?

Rubbish pick but a little different
GT edge ti (One of the original US made but "outsourced" frames)
Now with an FSA chainset rather than Ultratorque for those eagle eyed enough to spot the cups
