Interested to see who is still using a sub 120mm travel 26" FS instead of the usual 150-160mm enduro rig.
Who's got what?
Cheers.
Can I play with a 29er?

Good to see some love for unfashionable bikes, keep em coming 🙂
I still love the look of that seatpost, proper retro. I used to have a Slayer of that vintage, great bike.
Fashionably unfashionable.

It mainly hangs up in the garage these days as the fatbike, 29er and CX options appeal more.
Is it me, or does that Turner have a very high BB?
Doesn't feel like it but it certainly looks like it!
Sorry, another 29er:

another 29r and another elemtent
I have an Orange ST4 (same as in matt_outandabout's piccy) with 120mm Rebas. In bits at the moment as I need to sort the bearings out, but it's the best bike I've owned and suits my type of riding perfectly.

115 at the back. 105-140 at the front. Usually 140
About to head out on my Camber 26er (120mm F&R) so I will try and get a pic or two while I'm out.
No photos but my old 26" plastic Anthem held its own in the Peaks and many a trail centre, and until bigger wheels came along it felt so fast 🙁
So it would appear to answer the OP - not many.
I still run a 120mm Camber 26er, im not gnarr enough for anything bigger, even my hardtail is only 100mm but that's 29er! will see if I can find a pic.

where are all the anthems! if mine had a slacker head angle it would be perfect. 26" wheels as well
Well I would show you my 90mm Trek 29er, but it's in the LBS while they try to find the missing 30mm of fork travel 😕
Don't have any close up pictures of my Anthem X. Done everything on this from racing, (HtN here) to Passportes du Soleil. Will probably go 29er next time, but not more travel. [img]

where are all the anthems!
I just washed mine down and locked it away before I saw this thread. Plus I've got some pimpin' bits to collect from the post office in the morning, so I'll try and get them on at lunch time for an afternoon pic.
3.5 year old camber and still going strong. Tried 29ers they were poo. Tried 650b they were also poo. Sticking with my old bike 🙂

So are 29er owners a bunch of illiterates who can't read past a title or pushy bastards who can't resist an opportunity to post off topic pictures of their clown wheels?
Age related pedantry is a bitch.
It's my short travel bike, my first one 🙂 it's also really nice. Don't let wheel size get in the way of actually trying or liking something
Oh 26,..
125 rear, 130 front, and retired after ten years good service....

I prefer the clown wheels tbh, they're just better....
Clown wheels adsh? How is your whyte 29c then?
So are 29er owners a bunch of illiterates...
I'm a 29er owner. And a 26" owner. I posted the pic of my 26" bike 🙂
It's great!
And I have a Spearfish waiting to be built.
My job is to all intents and purposes copywriting - must get life and not obsess about detail.........
Nah, that one looks shit 🙂
Still enjoying every ride on my Titus...120 front / 105 rear

My Anthem, with racy bits on at 25.5lb (calculated). Was great in Wales, and is fast on the singletrack, about to appear in its first race next week.

I think Nemesis's stem is longer than his travel.....
My Anthem, with racy bits on at 25.5lb (calculated).
My bad, 24.5lbs (-1155g from OEM weight)
/selfpedant
I think Nemesis's stem is longer than his travel.....
20% more IIRC 🙂
Actually that frame was 'too small' for me (I got it really cheap so thought I'd give it a go) which you can see and yet, other than on really steep climbs, it was my favourite bike yet. I was absolutely gutted when it broke.
nemesis - MemberNah, that one looks shit
Cheers dude.
