i've been finding myself considering this kind of bike as a future purchase for commuting since, with a bit of luck, i'll be working somewhere that it's viable, and with that in mind i really like the look of that genesis...

My GT Moto is from 1999ish. They just resurrected the name for the jump bike.

Old Kona Blast from back of the shed. Stripped and fitted carbon forks/ mary bars etc from the parts bin .Used a 1/2 link to get good tension with 42/13 . Filed dropous to complete. Built up surprisingly light and cost virtually nowt to build (ok the individual bits have cost cash in the past but you get the idea )

Has had a far few upgrades on her since. (I think its only the frame, forks, seatpost and stem that are the same as this pic). :/

Groovey, Paul! what's the story behind the wheels/ tyres? Just what you had spare, or is it all cunningly thought out?

Here's mine. Not very light, but smooth and versatile. 2.0 race kings arriving in the post today, hopefully.

Kiwijohn's GT is winning.

Here's my Fixie Inc Peacemaker, fixed not singlespeed. 43:19 and two brakes works well for Sheffield.
