Just pushed the button on a Covert frame which I'm going to build up over the festive period so looking for some inspiration on what to built it up with. Being Xmas soon I'm not that flush so will be on the look out for some good condition secondhand bits namely forks and wheel set first off

So get pic whoring and tell me your spec

For forks look at x fusion slants or vengeance can be bough new for sh rockshit, fox & marzocchi prices.

Just bought a Covert 27.5 frame to build, Going Pikes, Double XT, XT Brakes, Stans Flow Rims and Hope hubs...

Mines a 26", not fussed for all this new fangled wheel size business 🙂

Where's best for wheels these days (Stan Flows on Hopes)

On the lookout for some Float 34's 160mm or similar

My Carbon Covert, just changed the Fox for a CCBD Air CS.

CCDB Air CS shock
Fox Float 36 160mm forks.
Renthal Fat Lite bars, Duo stem, Kevlar grips and 34t chainring.
Shimano Saint crankset, RD and shifter, XT brakes, chain and cassette.
Mavic Crossmax SX wheels.
Reverb Stealth.
SDG Bel Air.
DMR Brendog pedals.
E13 Lg1+ chain guide.

There was a similar post a few weeks or months ago, but any excuse to post up a pick of my steed. Here's mine in wet weather configuration. Its a 29er and utterly brilliant… Got some Pikes on the wish list when funds allow….

I've got a covert frame that I will be selling when I get round to it.
Raw finish, large 2011, if you are interested.
Great condition as was taped from new and has not been used much, as it was a bit big for me.

5'9" with 30" inside leg on a medium. Towards the top end of the medium range but perfect for me.

Some lovely looking bikes here.

Well I've gone for small being 5'8" with 30" inside leg, was in between on the size chart but prefer bike on the smaller side so fingers crossed it should be ok!
