Just put an order in for the frameset (in chilli) under our C2W scheme. Now waiting for stock to arrive in Dec. So, until then, show me yours for inspiration!
You won't be disappointed! Go on then, here's mine...

Ohhh nice!
I've put several photos of mine on here since August 2017 but they all look like this:

Size XL with a Restrap frame bag (Large)
In warmer climes

mrs llama's

There looks to be a bit of a theme here with these bikes ..... frame bags .....XL
I built this up earlier in the year just as the first lock down kicked in:

It was an eBay Alpkit special and I suspect it had been built up and on display. It came to be as a F&F.
I built it up with what I had squirrelled away for such a build. The only real change has been swapping from the silly flared bars I started off with to non flared drops.
It's been my most ridden bike this year, I think it's fabulous.
The frame bag was added to carry a plethora of spares for when were were heading out regularly as a family but remains as it nicely houses all I want to carry inc an OS map ......
In due course I'd like to upgrade it, making it a little lighter but that may disrupt the sheer simplicity of the current build.
Now .... building a ti one ......

The versions I have tried I've just not gotten on with - its a personal "thing" I guess. I found they but the levers and my wrists in a position that neither were particularly comfortable with. Lots get on really well them but I couldn't.

Frame bags really do seem to be mandatory 🙂
@Blackflag - it lets you carry all the snacks, lights, tools, tubes etc in there and you don't get a sweaty back
Mines a Version 1, can't decide whether or not to go for a V3 when they're available again. My most ridden bike this year, these were on yesterday's ride. I think the colours have greatly improved since my v1. The red one looks really nice in the flesh
I give up trying to post pics here. Out of interest anyone with 700x50c tyres got
Mudguards to fit. Got some bluemel 53s which I suspected would be tight and struggling.

As per @letmetalktomark some people just get on with them. I like wide bars, on the hoods they feel way too constricted, almost like aerobars. Plus, I broke my arm way back and it set ~5 deg out of rotation, they trigger that too.
They are fine on the drops though... I’m just not flexible enough for that to be comfortable these days. I’ve a set of venturemax’s winging their way to me as I type...
Mudguards and Resolute 42mm don’t work. Not enough clearance. Apparently Raddler 40s ‘just’ work. Let’s hope so, a set of same are also winging their way to me...

Mine will be sporting a spiffing Revelate frame bag next proper outing...
‘Only’ a L though...
I'm sat waiting on them coming back into stock..!
Mine is with Alpkit, waiting for 165mm cranks to come back in stock. I think it was last week they called me, maybe the week before but I really want a go on it.
I could have had a set of 170mm but it’s have annoyed me and I’ve had ended up swapping them pretty quickly, so I may as well wait. I guess.

not seen much action of late ☹

Not enough Mint in here. Here’s mine. It’s currently in commuter mode with skinnier tyres (35mm G-ones) and guards. I’ve had it 4 months now and still really enjoying it. Gonna try 1x10 soon and potentially upgrade the group set and brakes to 1x11 GRX.
Can anyone give any advice regarding groupset options? I was looking to get the Apex1 Mechanical as I had no issues with the TRP Spyres on my GT Grade, and I've been really happy with the SRAM 11sp reliability on both mine and the OHs MTBs. Is it really worth the extra for hydraulic/Rival/GRX?
idiotdogbrain
I have spyres on the SS CX bike, Ultegra STi disk on the Camino - worlds apart in terms of performance.
@Superficial thats the first one ofthese I've seen in a colour scheme I really like, looks much better than it does in their own photos.

Oh, I've no doubt that they are, but given that I never felt the need for any more power than the Spyres had, is there any other reason to go for the hydraulics? Combined cable shifter/brake units have been around for ages and are well-proven in terms of reliability. Hydro drop bar levers just seem really large and unwieldy.
I run TRP Spyre SLCs on my Camino above with 160mm rotors front and rear.
I'm about 100kg in my birthday suit and I have to say I have gotten on really well with their braking performance. More than enough power even braking from the hoods.
I splashed out and used the TRP compressionless cable set and everything runs nice and smoothly.
I have another drop bar bike and again went with TRPs. I'm a hydro convert on the MTB but I do like to K.I.S.S.

His and hers Caminos. I love my Ti. Defenitely the one I'd save from a burning garag.
As for groupset I'd push for the hydraulics if you can. Also think seriously about how much time you'll be whizzing along farily smooth stuff. The one thing I would change about mind is I'd get a double instead of 1x, but I have been known to have roady tendencies. In fact it's pretty much replaced my road bike for long rides. I managed 70 miles last month with very little in the way of proper roads. Bliss!
Some lovely looking bikes here. I have to admit i'm slightly miffed that i didnt go for Ti simply cos they look soooo pretty. But once the hire agreement is submitted under our C2W scheme its final. No changes allowed. Still i suppose thats a good thing as it would just be some serious N+1 extravagance as I spend way more time on my FS and HT than on the gravel bike i currently have (2017 Arkose).

Arkose forks on Camino frame. A build from last winter and plenty of fun riding it since then.

Thanks. I was in need of a frame and they only had that option available, otherwise I think I’d have gone for the boring grey. But I really like the mint colour - glad I was forced into that choice now!
You utter b*******. Due to the sheer loveliness of those Ti Caminos, Ive had to get on to our HR and amend my order.
Ti Camino now on order instead.
You utter scumbags
How are you able to order one when the Alpkit/Sonder website shows them all unavailable?
Ti Camino now on order instead.
I ordered a mint AL initially. They were more than happy to have me upgrade to Ti... infact, I think they just told me the frames would be delayed until there were ti ones deliberately knowing this would be the case... 🤪 bastards!
How are you able to order one when the Alpkit/Sonder website shows them all unavailable?
Id suggest contacting Alpkit support by email and asking about availability. That worked for me... I’ve a feeling that they only get in small quantities of ti frames and most are presold in this manner... 😀
How are you able to order one when the Alpkit/Sonder website shows them all unavailable?
Its through the C2W scheme, so I just get a voucher to use with Alpkit. I spoke to Alpkit and they have provided the quote and booked me into the system as being tagged with one when they get their next batch. Once I have the voucher I can pay for it.
Same place, four months apart. Only one with the frame bag though...

Am I allowed to be one of the cool kids with the *ahem* remarkably similar Titus model?

Absolute love mine, it's great as a bike for "just riding". I'd second the comments above about going for Hydros if you have the option. They're a big step even over a Hope V-Twin setup on my previous bike.
I've an older MK1 and really like it. Keep looking at the ti as an upgrade but not yet jumped.
I'll be putting the TRP Hydro discs that came with my old Arkose on it. Really like them, plus a bar end shifter to manage the 1 x 10 that also came with the Arkose.

Re my mudguard query above, many hours later and bluemel 53s fitted with wtb venture 700x50 tyres. It was tricky and clearance is pretty damn tight at chainstay yolk and fork crown. Shall give it a test ride. Prob ok for road use but not sure on rougher ground how effective. Flex in the guards off-road plus mud etc I expect going to be an issue.
